CEIC’s Merchants & Makers Committee partnered with SOLVE and the City of Portland’s Graffiti Abatement Team for a neighborhood clean up event on Sunday, June 4th. 60 volunteers came together to clean up a record breaking 1000 lbs of trash and to paint out graffiti. Thanks to event sponsors Yale Union, Water Avenue Coffee, Food & Bloom, Bunk Sandwiches, and pure simple juice. Our friends at Pacific Outdoor Advertising chose our district for their annual graffiti paint out event, bring forklifts, rollers and paint to reach out those hard to reach spots.
