Innovation Quadrant in the Central Eastside
The Innovation Quadrant was featured in a recent Portland Business Journal Article. “If a group of leaders in higher education, biosciences, real estate, technology and business development has its way, Portland’s Innovation Quadrant will gain as much traction on the Central Eastside as the districts in those other cities. Officially launched one year ago, the Portland IQ spans roughly from Oregon Health & Science University’s South Waterfront campus and neighboring Zidell Yards, across the Tilikum Crossing over the Willamette River to OMSI, the ODOT Blocks and the industrial area that runs north to I-84…The goal of the IQ, which launched as a nonprofit at last year’s TechFestNW, is to keep those Portland-incubated startups in the city and allow them to scale here.”

The June Quarterly Meeting will take a closer look at the IQ.
