SOLVE Cleanup with Because People Matter

Join SOLVE, the Central Eastside Industrial Council (CEIC), Because People Matter, and community members for a litter cleanup in the Central Eastside Industrial District. During this cleanup, you will work with the guidance of SOLVE staff to clean up trash and litter. This event is part of BPM’s Love Your Neighbor program.


When: Saturday, March 26th, 10am – 12pm

What to Bring:

  • Work boots recommended or sturdy shoes (no sandals or open-toed shoes).
  • Layered clothing: long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, jacket, etc.
  • Gear appropriate for that days’ weather conditions (hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, rain gear, etc.)
  • Snacks, lunch, water in a reusable water bottle
  • A face mask

COVID Safety: Masks are recommended at check-in and outdoors when you cannot keep a 6 ft distance.
Parking: Street parking in neighboring residential areas.
Transit: Bus line no. 1 is a block away on SE Grand.
Restrooms: Restrooms cannot be guaranteed; please plan accordingly.
Accessibility: This event will take place almost entirely on paved services and, therefore, will be accessible to those with mobility concerns.
Youth Volunteers: This event is open to youth volunteers.
