Power of Portland’s Industrial Businesses Breakfast

A more resounding voice is needed to help reconnect with the Portland community and leaders to support the city’s large, diverse manufacturing and industrial center. Portland’s advantages and opportunities for manufacturing and industry are expanding. But the hurdles and regulatory issues are getting higher too. The situation is giving pause to many manufacturing and industry leaders about continuing to invest here. We build ships, manufacture cutting edge metals, have a surprisingly expansive food industry and most importantly, we create the most middle income jobs for communities of color and non-college graduates. Multnomah County Commissioner Jessica Vega Pederson will join our difficult search for solutions to industry’s tough challenges in Portland. Join us to discuss how we can better communicate our value and our needs to decision makers.

A joint event with the Northwest Industrial Business Association, Working Waterfront Coalition, Central Eastside Industrial Council, Swan Island, and Columbia Corridor Association with Prosper Portland and Multnomah County Commissioner Jessica Vega Pederson
